A little rain last night but quite warm for November. 57 today and tomorrow

My kitty doesn't get time change... I have a light come on at 5 am so I wake up gently. At 4 she was yelling for me to get up and feed her.

My converter box for the antenna doesn't know time change either
Both will figure it out eventually

I’ll have to use that line when someone asks!

I have had more then one person tell me the blue eggs taste better. They all taste like eggs to me.

I thought it was funny when a lady told me her teenage daughters fought over who got the blue ones. LOL I started to make sure she had even numbers of blue after that.

I have a friend who was buying eggs and said they def taste better than store bought, but I can't remember if she said she thought the blue ones tasted better. I agree.. they just taste like eggs.

@apryl29 My mystery Orp is giant. And I still have no idea if it’s a boy or girl. I picked Pat up today to look “it” over and it’s a heavy a$$ bird! I did see one of the young boys try and dance for Pat but much like yours they are hormones wrapped in feathers at the moment. It wouldn’t surprise me if they danced for each other.

I’ve decided Pat will be Petunia if she lays eggs. LOL Should be Big Bird.

That's what Willie was doing with Steve last year! I don't think anyone was more surprised that Steve was a boy than Willie was. Willie was in love, then once he found out he was duped it was cackles raised and out for blood.
Also, years ago I had a chicken named Petunia. No idea what kind she was, but she was black and speckly.

That's an old rail road tie she's standing on.
No spurs.
The other boys at least have little buds.

Lots of very shiny sorta pointed feathers. But all over. Not just hackle or saddle position.
Deep voice but no crowing. 22 weeks

They all taste like eggs to me some are better depending on the layer and how they forage. Not because of the color
