I felt this poor chicken up from tail to beak. I can feel her whole crop. As awful as it sounds I even "poked around" where I thought the crop should be emptying to see if I could feel anything. I feel the grit I've gotten her to eat. This morning I picked her up to change her bandage and a bunch of fluid came out. (Do not pick up chicken quickly) Once it starts coming out I hold her head down, butt up and let gravity work. It's thick gross smelly stuff that looks like mostly digested food. I play her like a bagpipe. Hold her under one arm and run my hand down her neck toward her beak. Get what's in her throat out. She usually seems relieved.

I completely emptied her area and put a new blanket down. If she's pooping or not I'll know.
Is she in the basement or the garage still? I wonder if putting here somewhere that she can get a bit of sunlight will help her a little.

So she pooped! Not a lot but normal looking. Then she tried to take my finger off for her monistat. :sick I mean she bit me really hard!

She is still in the basement. At this rate she’ll be there till spring. I moved the others to the garage but had left her and Cream Puff together. Now I’m afraid it’s a bit cold to move her.
I do leave a light on for her. There are windows but not a ton of light comes in.
I think her crop slowed because she has a harder time getting around. I gave her a full size waterer so she should be able to reach it from anywhere in her area. Her area is cardboard walls set up to stop her from wondering too far. She doesn’t do good on the cement floor. I’m going to have to make her a peg leg or a shoe for her other foot. I don’t know. She tries to use it like a normal leg but can’t. Time will tell. Maybe I’ll invent the chicken wheelchair!

Are you using the suppositories? The work better.

Thankfully not! I do not want to do that again soon :sick I am finishing up a research trip in Chihuahua, Mexico

Oh no!!
I watched a documentary about epic engineering fails. They showed the busses when trying to get answers about the unusable railroad.

Dear God I wish that trip on no one ever!
