Mornin ya'll.

A cold 19° this morning. The birds are grumpy and Gretchen was actually visibly shivering. She has a naked bum and is missing about 70% of her feathers.
I believe she thinks molting sucks.

The fire in Ventura county CA is looking horrible!
They showed video of the high wind blowing embers moving fast.

I don't want to get up! I checked the weather and it said that s word. Actively falling from the sky! :oops:
I'm not ready for winter.:tongue

Noooooo!!!! :eek:

I am so glad I left the frigid Midwest.....y'all can have that nasty, miserable white stuff! (I mean it does snow in Jersey, but not near as much as out there, ugh)

So Gladys puked again. I got monistat in her yesterday but I think most of it came back this morning. I can feel grit in her crop. Fed her more monistat and pulled food.

What’s the best treatment for sour crop?
@Chickassan
That or the other anti fungal. You should be able to get it cleared up with twice a day treatments --takes 3 to 5 days.

Remember, cut the eggs and stuff and feed her mashed starter grower only. After the crop is better, give a teaspoon of plain yogurt each day for about a week.

Hopefully the crop is not getting hurt. I had a cockeral that I missed sour crop on for too long and he wound up having crop issues for life. I had to use crop pills every month or so.

Do make sure she is pooping. Crop bound is a different treatment

She’s processing the food it’s just not going anywhere. I’m going to have to clean out her whole area and double check for pooping.
If she’s impacted then what!?!
