It’s supposed to sweep over here this weekend as well but just as cold nighttime temps.
Today looks very gray and wet and wintery out the window but it’s actually kind of warm.

I've noticed my Broody Leghorn's comb shrunk to less than half it's normal size when she was broody and was a less vivid red. I've seen the same thing in girls that are going through a hard molt.
