Cats are like kids the only thing they do is cry for food, poop and make a mess

Right on - Texas Sam you left out the bit about them hissing, biting, and scratching their humans.

Don't even have any stuffed animal cats in the house. NO CAT ZONE !!!!

They help with the mice.
My turkeys are the ones that hiss, bite, and scratch
When i was working double shifts in the winter it was easy to have a cat.. The poor dog waiting up to 20 hrs to go out  and he would wait

So you going to make me two 6x8 I want one that looks like a Texas flag. The other whatever my wife wants

That can be done.
72x96 is an odd size but certainly doable for the flag.

This one right?

The quilting would need to be very precise to do right by the flag of course. Thinking a simple grid so the flag remains the main thing visually.

Of course quilts are NOT inexpensive to make.

That’s the right flag
The odd size is a personal size

Actual chicken question:

During molt when hens stop laying eggs, their combs shrink to half their normal size. (at least mine have)

When roosters molt do their combs shrink as well?

Back when I had roosters they sure did. It's so sad when a proud bantams comb shrinks.

You are right on that! Batting has gotten quite expensive and fabric.just keeps going up. Plus thread and time, sure adds up.
