It is cool to be able to get the lungs out all in one piece!Actually, it isn't odd at all. The lungs are stuck to the ribs along either side of the spine, and the kidneys are stuck to the back along either side of the spine below the ribs all the way to the tail. They are tricky to get out by hand, but I do it. There is a reason why there is such a thing as a lung rake for processing.

That sounds like more trouble than it is worth. I would rather buy a gluten free Frechetta pizza at wally world.
