Well I just got awful news. My helper just texted me his son got hit by a truck at school today. I don’t know what to say or do. Yes he is alive
Tell him you're very sorry and your thoughts are with all of them. (And your crazy chicken friends thoughts too) And tell him if there is anything you can do to let him know.
Sometimes just the words make people feel better. It's better then saying nothing.

I’m wondering if he only has one testie or something? He really is rather feminine. (Other then that voice)
I had a late bloomer Delaware. He missed the initial culling at 13-14 weeks because I thought he was a pullet. Around 22 weeks or so I saw him jumping one of the pullets. I looked and he had shiny saddle feathers. When I butchered him around 6 months, he had testicles that were half the size of some 16 week old cockerels I culled at the same time. This was taken when I discovered him. All the other cockerels had a comb that size by 13 weeks. Some of the pullets had combs that size at that point.

They are going home his son has four broken fingers, dislocated shoulder, a cut on his head and a large bad cut on his hand. He was crossing the street in front of the school when he was hit. The person that was driving didn’t stop it is a hit and run :rant
Lucky he wasn't hurt worse! What is wrong with people?
