Official Squatch Watchers

Good morning, friends! :frow :caf

It's COLD...33 degrees.
Last week I had to do a "first ever" in a year and a half or so...buy eggs. :th
It was a little embarrassing. Half my poor babies are naked (first molt)!

Now I'm getting one to two little eggies a day.

My Seramas (and the 1/2 Serama/half Silkie babies) are all hanging in there! The lowest it got down to was 17, and they are all fine. I'm starting to think the hardiness of Seramas (and Silkies, and d'Uccles) is a bit underrated...

Ow..... I really hurt.

I knew I did way to much pushing and pulling of the mobile coops white we were moving the birds. But I did it anyway (despite my DH's protests) because I hate feeling useless. Now my pregnant body is making it known how displeased it is. <snip>
I really need to get over myself and let others do the work I shouldn't be doing.

Rae!!!! You're pregnant!! Please take care of yourself, and your little lima bean in there.

Delegate, or let it go...none of that manly stuff is worth the health of you two, k? :hugs

Oh, and.....CONGRATS ON THE 59 CHICKENS! (I almost didn't see the part about the 8 or so bantams that don't count, but we'll let that slide, lol.... :lau)

I knew I did way to much pushing and pulling of the mobile coops white we were moving the birds. But I did it anyway (despite my DH's protests) because I hate feeling useless. Now my pregnant body is making it known how displeased it it. My lower back, abs and sciatic nerve on my left side are all acting up. When I put the Milk Drinker down to bed, I laid down in my bed as usual until he fell asleep. Today I was so tired that I just vegged on my phone until it was getting close to bed time. When I tried to get up, the pain was so bad I couldn't sit up. I can't do a "sit up" method of getting up because my abs don't like it, so I roll over on my left side, hang my feet over the edge of the bed and push myself into the sitting position. This set off my lower back and sciatic nerve so bad that I started crying. I had to get DH to come over and pull me into a sitting position from laying on my back. Fortunately, an application of ice and homeopathic remedies seem to be helping a lot.

I really need to get over myself and let others do the work I shouldn't be doing.
Watch the sciatica!

Yeah, I know I need to delegate. I don't like feeling helpless.

DH just walked up behind me while typing my response to you and pointed to your second sentence and said "Ahem, I agree completely!":lau

Oh. I realized late last night that I didn't count my 3 Dark Cornish breeders. I also need to get an accurate count on the chicks in the brooder coop too.

Watch the sciatica!
I know. I need to go to my Chiropractor tomorrow. I had sciatic pain all through my last pregnancy and pretty bad after my c-section. My core and pelvis feels more unstable this time around. I think that is mainly the fault of the c-section.

I broke down and put a cozy coop flat panel heater in my Serama coop. My Wyandotte Bantam and my Silky also roost with them. I think I did it more for me comfort. Haha makes me sleep better. My rule is.....I only turn it on if its going to get below 25 at night.

Noon, and Lulu finally came out lol! Negan is estatic.:gig
