Official Squatch Watchers

I put a board across the inside of one coop door to hold the litter in to prevent the door from jamming on shavings.
The man door isn’t a problem, I have an 18” high threshold to keep chips and birds in the coop. The chicken doors are the problem. We could only make the about 1’ high if we put them at the level of the concrete pad at the bottom of the coop.

Because I'm reminded frequently
"Auntie, new hat. New chicken hat."

Just put higher pop holes in with a ramp or ladder.

Can't do it. My dad won't let me.

The coop is in his garage and he doesn't want holes in his siding so the boards below is the only place I can put doors. So I have to deal with what we have available.

Yes, @pitbullmomma, I just updated my signature.

If I count the banties, I have 71 chickens. But hey, I'm under 100! I just need to see if I can find someone to do a few more cockerels. ;)

I don't need 9-10 Cornish cockerels going into breeding season.

Hahaha, don't think I didn't see that number creeping up!

So.

Hubby went to his sister's yearly 10-course, neverending pre-Xmas party without me today. And told them why. :)

And I had a glorious half day to myself! He's on his way home. I am SO CURIOUS to hear what was said.

Also, I made him do Xmas cards this year (I've done them my whole life. And I'm done. At least, this year).

AND...I booked a 2 day yoga retreat for myself in the Catskills, on the 27th. I decided this year I'm celebrating....Cindimas!!!! And if people don't like it, they are cordially invited to bite me.

Can I get a high five, y'all?!! :highfive:
