I would say that is dependent on how much experience you have with horses and other equines. Minis will be easier to deal with.

what are other farm animals <not poultry> i can keep in small numbers and not a ton of space i live in the country so i have some room i also have to prove to my parents why i can use these animals for the farm i currently have cows and poultry and a couple pet rabbits.

Maybe goats?
Good for milking (involves breeding though )
Fertilizer (likely not as good as cow, chicken or bunny)

I would say meat but ......... Not sure how much it costs to raise to good size and many people aren't willing to process or consume goat.

Ugh, my mom (a former hairdresser) gave the Milk Drinker....a bowl cut....a friggin' bowl cut! I just had to get the clippers out and give him a high and tight haircut (like I give DH) that looks a little ragged because he wouldn't stop moving. It still looks better than a bowl cut.
