To make it official you have to fondle at least two sets of wattles in the presence of a witness. My witnesses were squirrels but it still counts. ;)
I want to fondle wattles, where do I go for the "Official" certification!
I can't eat them either Henny. I can't get past the smell. You can tell those hens are not in a good way. :(

Welp....zero today. :(

Looks like store bought eggs for making cookies. Nope, I won't eat them.
Store eggs have always made my migraines worse.

Eggs are for hubby and son. They hey will be working in the cold this next week. Oatmeal cookies are a good, stick with ya, kinda snack.
Most times when we get a cold snap they don't have time to take a lunch break.

The least gross store eggs I have found are in a box with a black lid from Vital Farms. Actually they look really good, tall yolks, more orange than yellow and the whites don't run all over the pan.
Of course they cost more too. I am willing to pay it during our dry spells.

Those sound much nicer than the ones I bought for dog treats/bribes . I just got the store brand whiteys and jeeze did they EVER fart up the house! :th

My dogs both get a boiled egg every day. The Shepherd has a super shiny coat.
Yep my dog gets a couple eggs every day
Right now we're eating eggs from last spring that I froze.... not great but better than store bought.
I am getting 5 eggs a day from 50 some hens.. but most are going to customers

Well folks, Ham has been found, unfortunately not alive. No sign of the little one who escaped with him. He changed direction. Last time I saw him he was heading up my mountain, heading north east. He apparently turned south and traveled a couple of miles before finding the highway. He was about 10 miles from here when he was hit by a car. My neighbor's friend saw it happen the day before Christmas.
Oh my. That’s so sad Bob. Poor ham. :hit
