Oh........I almost forgot the real tatering me off part of the vet visit.....

Vet: So how is potty training going?
Me: Pretty well actually.
Vet: So does she have any accidents?
Me: Yes, but only if I am to slow getting the door open.
Vet: Do you scold her for the accident?
Me: No, Why would I scold her for me being to slow?
Vet: She NEEDS scolded for peeing in the house.
Me: NO she does not. She is asking but I am sometimes to slow getting the door.
Vet: Well she is never going to learn if you don't scold her.
Me: :hmm I refuse to scold her because I didn't get there in time.

Yeah.....time for a new vet.

Nunny, can you make a plexiglass window to make a wind block for the pop door then add a small roof over it? It would help with the issue if blowing snow, be more durable and less expensive than glad, and allow them to see outside, plus let light in.

Apryl, look up POTS, dysautonomia and orthostatic hypotension. Has cardiology done a tilt table test? Unfortunately, chronic conditions like your daughter has can cause any of these as comorbid conditions. Dysautonomia covers a syndrome situation when the majority or entire autonomic nervous is affected. You can have any of the conditions that the diagnosis covers. The other two are able to be diagnosed by cardiology relatively easily, the tilt table test usually will tell them. Unfortunately, all of them tend to be chronic conditions. You can get buffered salt tabs, and another place to look at is saltstick.com, specifically the Saltstick Vitassium. I would suggest the Vitassium over other salt tablet products.

I took Tilly for her 12 week shots this morning. She is 25.2 pounds. Sure feels heavier.

I don't particularly like the vet she saw today. It was the same one who had me running lots of tests on Sable for "kidney failure".
This little puppy is NOT fully vaccinated yet and she is telling me I need to be taking her to dog parks.

UM NO!

Then she's all over me to spay her......She is BARELY 12 tatering weeks old!!!!!
Then it's how she MUST be on heartgard NOW.

:tongue I am going to explore different vets.

OH AND she puked the bordetella stuff all over the back seat of my car.

I really wish I was kidding you. Sadly I am not.

She has been at this office several years. I am one to request a specific vet. Lately the one I ask for has been at a lot of conferences.

I don’t have their electric net, but I have 2 stretches of the nonelectric hen pen.
I love it and it’s really held up well.
 
That is a deal! Mine are not too smart though so electric net would just be mean. :)
