Morning everyone.

Anansi, that's a long time waiting.

I really hope it's not a surgery for her. More than that I hope the pain can be relieved never to return.

So... I'm enjoying wonderful one on one-ish time with DD#3 while we sit in the observation floor of the hospital waiting till morning for her to get re-evaluated for appendicitis. It's 10 pm and we started at the emergency room at around 3 am this morning. Pain is getting worse, but surgeon didn't want to operate earlier today because it was possible early appendicitis, and DD#3 has health issues that make healing more challenging, so surgery is only if she really needs it. I'll keep y'all updated.

I’m praying for you guys. Appendicitis is no joke.
They tried to send me home with it saying it was a stomach bug.
By the time they pulled the trigger it had burst. Lots of complications, a second surgery and a long road to recovery.

Some sort of head cold with body aches. I’m sure I’ll be fine in a few days.

There is a cold virus out this year that is very nasty!

Haha! I had two hens that crowed, albeit not frequently.

I have one that makes a weird noise in the morning. It is kind of like a crow but not quite there.

Lots and lots of fluids would help thin those secretions and promote drainage. -but I know you know that.
Pregnancy colds are miserable.
Gosh I hope T-1 doesn’t get it too.

I’ve got other one who does it occasionally, although she always does it from behind cover, like she’s embarrassed and doing it in secret

I will say my favorite "weird" chicken noises came from a buff orpington who honked like a small goose instead of clucking.

Both of mine honk too!
Kind of like a cross between a goose and the little horn a clown carries around!
