Official Squatch Watchers

So, somewhat bad news. We put a rush on getting the site assessor out here to make sure that we could get the house we wanted. We can't get something as wide or as long as we wanted back here. The house we were looking at was 32 by 76, but we can't fit anything wider than 14 ft and longer than 56 ft back here. So we are going back to the drawing board. We are probably going to have to switch to a triple wide rather than a double wide. Our guy at the builder is looking up some options for us now.

I certainly hope so. Worse case scenario, we build on the in-law suite after the fact (which I REALLY don't want to do).

So you are looking at different floor plans and layouts?

The 14x56 (yes I know the 14 gets doubled) isn't very big with babies and inlaws. :hmm

My house is 20x56. That if includes the garage but it's a single car. If it weren't for the full basement it would be to small.:(

We are hoping we can find a triple wide that works for us so 42X56 = 2352 sq ft isn't much smaller than 32X76 = 2432 sq ft. We won't be doing a basement.

There are some really pretty ones out there. Sooooooo many features too.

The outside is rather plain but I liked the kitchen.

Never mind....it's to long. :(
We looked at that one initially, but we couldn't get the in-law suite we wanted and the seller was not as responsive as we would have liked. We are currently working with Clayton homes and they have been very responsive.
And modular instead of manufactured, which means $$$$$

Yeah they can really jack the prices. :hmm

Some really pretty homes available. I am sure you'll find a good one for your family.
