I am in Illinois. I keep 7 chickens and am hatching a bunch of quail - hopefully tomorrow. I also have 2 dogs, 2 fish tanks, a koi pond and a gecko. I am married and we have a 2 year old.
I can do heavy lifting. :)
I enjoy random ramblings, so I will watch this thread. Off to a good start with blind guys with issues and exploding mice.

Hello! I’m one of the ones with littles. You can see what critters I have below. I also have a 2.5 year old son who is known as Thing 1 in here and I’m pregnant with Thing 2. We are working on getting a house built before baby comes in June.

I am also hoping for @pitbullmomma to update us on her birdies today. I know she is super busy but I am hoping for a good update.

Poor @rjohns39 ! He’s such a good guy to take the ribbing we give him!
Little does he know I think of him (in a good way) every time I pass that section in a grocery store.

Speaking of tinned fish and such,
My sister once walked miles to a grocery store in July heat, pushing a 3 yr old in a stroller (while preggars) for a can of sardines. She sat on the curb right outside the store, and ate them one by one. then she walked home. She’d never had one before, or since. She said she just woke up that morning and had to have some!
