Trader Joe's usually has it, but it is pricey.

Personally, I actually love Trader Joe’s brand butter. But that’s because I love that store in general!

We have one section of town where they put everything and TJ is there...and so is every single jerkwad that can't drive.

Just gave the old cat her last eyedrops. She looks much better than she did the wonky eye is pretty much normal. Iv'e been cleaning the funk out on a regular basis though, something the vet refused to do for whatever reason. Just use the drops my butt.

Ok know what is wrong with Tucks, she's semi broody. Beavis and her were in the same nest and as soon as Beavis laid Tucks rolled it under her and just kept sitting.
She's been in there for a few hours, she's normally slow but that egg snatching says it all.

I would make a bait station for it as well. It may hurt your chickens if they got into it. The link has some tips on making bait stations.

The caged area is where Odin lived. It's adjacent to the coop, but not accessible from the coop so the other birds can't get to it, but I should probably cover it b/c snow. I've been doing a lap around the coop when I collect eggs & I haven't seen any mice/ rat prints so that's good. LOADS of bunny prints though.

Omg! My tank isn't even set up correctly! I just read the regulations, 10ft from a building and 10ft from an adjoining property line and mine is neither.
That sucker is literally 2ft from the house, this company are morons.
The previous company took my tank and gas because somebody called and said the homeowner was deceased and then wanted 280$ to bring it back...i'm convinced propane companies are all owned by the devil.

I lived in a trailer and we had propane. I was on autofill when we first moved in and it was fine, about $80/ month, except they kept topping it off every single time they were in the park. It was ridiculous. My bill just kept going up and up. I asked them if they could at least wait til it was below 50% to refill it and they said nope. I went to will call and that wasn't too bad, except that it was super expensive.

@apryl29 I've never seen an intact fish the size of the one I caught. Don't know if the fish at the damn was 2 or 3 and hard to imagine what one whole would look like. Only reason I got to be there is Army Corps requested one of my techs to rig the explosives and the boss was in a generous mood. After all, it's not every day you get a mission requirement to travel to go blow up fish.

I bet it was a once in a lifetime moment. At least all the other fish ate good that day.

I just can't keep up with you guys any more! 300 some odd posts! Anyway, i just wanted to tell y'all that my 15 year old dog passed on.

he does have a smartphone and he know how to ask google.
I think it is a big adjustment for him... put on a blindfold and try to cook and what not.
I went over this morning and made breakfast for him and I just talked to him and will go over in the morning tomorrow too.. looks like I am breakfast maker.

With that storm coming you don't want to be out running around if the roads are bad. I agree, his son should be making some arrangements, or his brother.. It shouldn't be your responsibility at all, but it is very nice of you to help him out. I hope those meds work so he'll be able to see again, but if not then some tough decisions will need to be made, like him living w/ someone. Hopefully they can find him a new aide soon.

Ok, this person is hatching chicks. I had no idea there was this "fun and funky" thing!
I'm tempted to sell hatching eggs and just label them "mixed derps" or "assorted heathens".

That whole idea seems really risky... I'd end up with a coop full birds that aren't coldy hardy.

Got a good look at Rene's butt cut in the daylight and I did pretty dang good no gaps or chunks at all. Honestly besides not being poopy you can't tell I was even back there.

Wow! I didn't realize you were getting so cold down your way. Glad that the south is participating in winter this year.. we should all suffer a little bit. It adds character.

We have one around, but it's not terribly close.. it's a special trip thing... We only go there for the cheap seaweed packets. Haven't been there in a while, but they were $1 each as opposed to almost $2... What's annoying is when we visited my brother in CA they had them $1 for a 9 pack at the asian market. Can't find them that cheap out here.

Can't do much better on my house sign, big white post with the numbers on three sides on one side of the driveway, and my drive is single no others joining it.
39 is nothing! Next week we are supposed to get into the teens at night barely hitting 30 in the day. That is the main reason i'm trying to prepare as much as possible.
We have a few weeks of just pure crap winter weather.

Wow... Did you tick someone off? Hopefully that caused some changes in their offices, like getting the name of someone who reports a customer as deceased.
Gross, it sounds like you're going to get what we have now. There's no escaping winter... except maybe people down in TX.

called at 10 to 10:00 3x before he answered this morning. He was still asleep... I am a very prompt person and that annoys the taters out of me. He didn't want me to come right away and I told him I just did 7 hrs of work in 5 so I would have time to make him breakfast.. and he had the aid coming at noon so why not have the aid make breakfast. After 19 min of back and forth, I said I would just come over right then and make the breakfast.. He said he wasn't hungry
10 min later I got there and he claimed the aid had called and was sick and couldn't come. His niece called while I was there and asked how he was. He told her he was blind (first time he had talked to her in awhile. Then all he did was complain. After 2 min of that she had to go back to work. I don't blame her. I told him that people don't want to hear it and he said people need to know He wants me to come back, I said I would call at 2.
The aid was supposed to take him to a drs appointment tomorrow.. I am sure I will get stuck with that.

While he was complaining to me about his relatives, he mentioned they wanted to put him in a home last year.
I wish I had thought about it then, but next time it comes up I am going to say maybe God wants him to do ministry in a home...those old people need to be saved too
