I'm having a pullet battle outside Sallie versus Ethel. Don't know who will win. Ethel has to jump to peck Sallie and she's got no comb to grab..

I got it all mixed up and it is sitting on the counter rising. I remember the smell of the yeast from when my mom used to make homemade bread when I was a kid. It is a comforting smell.

Woke up with about 7" if white fluffy stuff. We still have some snow bands moving through but I don't think enough to amount to anything. We started building a big igloo last night and are determined to get it done today before the temps drop dramatically. Hope everyone else is faring ok. The feathered folk are all doing ok. They're beddng down in the straw and the main coop has plastic wrapped around the run. The turkeys could care less and are walking around in the snow lol
