I generally never buy water in plastic, but sparkling water is a necessity when I’m pregnant and the glass bottles are WAY too expensive.

I grew up in a house with a well that was iron rich. Even through a water softener the water was gross. When city water came to the street my parents hooked up but I could taste the chlorine in it.
I'm back on a well with no softener but the water is so full of calcium I could chew it. I doubt my hens need oyster shell.
So I unfortunately buy bottled water. I tried the bigger jug but I just never drank it. Something about getting up to fill a glass....I don't know. I recycle all the bottles.

Oh crud, hubs thinks somebody is messing with his water bottle at work because it smells like chlorine.
Iv'e heard so much about water bottles in the past three years I could scream.
He won't drink tap water, he buys water.
I get it, tap water isn't the best thing but if you truly believe your bottle water came off a glacier then you're nuts. It isn't better, it still has crap in it, only he's paying way, way more.
The tap water costs 7 dollars a month, do I drink it? Yep.
I never drink tap water :sick

My tap water gets run through a Berkey filter. This was true when I lived in the DC Metro area and even now that we are on well water. The well water here is so full of iron that I don't buy any white clothing anymore. We plan on getting a water softener when we set up the new house, but I want a utility sink set up on the line before the softener so we can still run the well water through the Berkey for drinking and cooking.
