Klaus update. I went over there this morning and had the Monistat stuff ready and she is fine now. Her crop is normal size and she had food in it and it felt grainy like I was holding a sock filled with grit. So at this point I'm going to leave her for this morning and tonight when I have more time I will get her some of the Monistat. And it's so stupid because I know it was her because she's the only one with a blue comb and I'm certain her crop had been squishy because I sat there for several minutes fondling it thinking what the heck am I supposed to do about this. So apparently I'm a chicken fondler too and this time that's what the Cure was.

Conclusion: We like Test #2’s results as we enjoy rice with a slight chew, but not too chewy. Adjust the “Wild Rice:Water” Ratio accordingly to your personal preference.

Thanks. I guess the old 'If it feels weird poke at it a bit' thing worked this time. She's the same one who had the funky booty the other day, so she probably still needs treatment, but at least it's less of an emergency than I felt it was yesterday.

My brother lives near LA and when he bought his house it had no furnace and no insulation in the walls. The house wasn't cheap (like anything is in CA).. but IDK how people lived there w/o heat, lots of blankets? Maybe they were hardy people? IDK.. but we visited a few years ago in AUGUST, and at night I was FREEZING! We borrowed an RV from my brother's boss, no blankets.. the kids had brought along throw blankets so they had something, but we though Oh, it's CA, we don't need WARM clothes. WRONG!

Here in the Sacramento Valley we have heat and AC. On the coast, which is about 70 miles from here, houses will have heat but no AC. California has different climates that are very close to each other. Or record low is 15F. Record High is close to 114F
