I saw a photo of a truck that was buried in the snow.

Of course it's probably worse in certain areas, and others not so bad. Same as here... but I recall our Seattle person saying they don't get much snow up there. One of the photos in this article says they got a lot of ice too. I'm definitely not jealous.

It is like when it snows in the south-- There is not enough crews, dozers or resources for snow. Cars don't have snow tires and etc. It might not seem like a lot of snow but is bad for an unprepared place

I would be the Seattle person. We're doing good, I grew up in the Midwest, and I have an all wheel drive with Michigan all weather traction tires, so I'm not bothered by the snow. Bailey isn't too happy, his wiener can't clear the current 10 or so inches of snow, so he ends up with a chilly willy every time he needs to go out to pee or poop.

Glad you're doing well! Poor little doggie! I wouldn't be happy getting a frozen backside every time I went potty either.

Mornin Ya'll!

It is a chilly 9° here.

I got 4 normal eggs yesterday. There was one bantam egg with a very thin shell that was broken open. :(
I guess my 9 and 10 year old bantam are getting up there in age.
Awww. 9+ years is a long time... I can't believe they've been laying that long!

Went to gather eggs last night and I was surprised to see someone had laid in the 'other' box... Then I saw why. 6 eggs, and 2! were blue or green.... so 2 of my eggers are laying again! Super happy about that, less free loaders.

And as I was leaving yesterday I noticed a wet spot on the carpet outside my door, then last night as I was doing laundry I stepped in a wet spot.. at first I thought it was from our shoes, but it hadn't snowed that much by then. So likely it's my neighbor's water heater leaking in to my apt again. While I much prefer a wet floor to a wet ceiling, I'd greatly prefer if everyone's apt would stop leaking into mine.

And to make things even better. I paid my credit card last night thinking I had enough $$ to cover it b/c I had canceled autopay on my internet bill b/c I knew I wouldn't get my child support until Wed to cover the bill... guess what went through last night! Apparently if you cancel autopay w/ them it still goes through for a month after it's canceled. Not happy at the moment.

But at least I got 2 egger eggs yesterday.
