I used to pick up the ones that got hit on the road by the tail or foot...unless I needed to scrape them up.

They get hit in front of the house.. the dog wants to go sniff/roll in them when they get ripe... people swerve around them and one time whipped out my mailbox.

We had someone hit our mailbox in town, no animals involved. It sounded like a car crash when he hit. Young guy, probably on his phone. He came and put up a new one.

I got a deer skull with small antlers out of the ditch recently. Going to hang it up for decor.
