Calling all gardeners!!!
I need ideas on shade perennials that can hold up to dog poop and trampling.

Apparently the sun doesn't hit the back of the house. :gig
This stuff! Yarrow, it spreads at least triple each year and stays green all year. Really pretty flowers, tough can be trampled, mine lived through chickens. It is edible, and stops bleeding lol! It comes in alot of colors, iv'e got red.
The foliage is soft and kind of ferny so it wont hurt feet.:)https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Achillea_millefolium

Nunny, wood violets are another good option. Very hardy and do well even in very deep shade.

In my shade bed I also have columbines, lily of the valley, honeysuckle and clematis and akebia (all three are on trellises), coral bells, astilbe, dead nettle (a very hardy ground cover), bleeding hearts, and a small Japanese maple tree.

Feed store trip DONE! I was there when they opened. Chicken coops cleaned, all the baking soda poison is gone but the mice remain. :hmm
Heavy duty poison out where birds cannot get it.

All my clothes are washed, shoes sprayed with Lysol and left in the truck for feed store use only. Chicken coop shoes are sprayed and left in my workshop. I don't want any of that Newcastle carp here.
:barnie

Of course when I went to the feed store the chicks had just arrived. They were very cute.
That made me hurry up and get what I needed then get out.

I have taken 2 showers already today and run 2 loads of wash. I am going to be a germ freak for quite some time I fear.

I got some tyvek shoe covers just in case and have been using them religiously.
I'm bad at shoes, but i'm good at covers if I put the box by the door.:)

Fancy girl with your coop coat...iv'e got a coop bathrobe lol!
The shoe covers are nice, make me look like a looney but I don't forget about them and i'm getting 100 packs for free so I can toss them.
I was just so flippin paranoid honestly shoe changes didn't satisfy me.:hmm
I have coop shoes that stay on my property. I have a coop coat too. If I'm doing work out there I'll change my pants... if I'm running in to collect eggs probably not. The shoes are always changed. Mostly cause who wants poop everywhere. LOL
