Good morning, just popped the coop open and nests are already full so they're working early today!
Looks like London out there so foggy it isn't even funny, but at least it isn't raining.

Woke to snow here and it's still coming down.

Barely sat down with coffee and the accident calls started.
Gonna be a long day here.
I need to gear up and get ready to shovel. There's enough snow that the birds will refuse to come out. I guess shoveling that is as good a place to start as any.

You got coffee? Jealous as a mofo, hubs is sleeping on the sofa and I can't brew coffee without waking the b*tchbeast and it just isn't worth it.

Morning folks

Hi all! Finally finished work for the day and I’m going to get a bath. DH is putting Thing 1 to bed. We plan to go to the Smithzonian National zoo with our friends tomorrow. Normally we would take the Metro into the city, but with being 5.5 months pregnant I don’t want to consign myself to walking that much. So we are driving into DC. Pray for us!

Rae, consider a taxi... Park outside the city and taxi in that way you don't have to eat the car. Stay safe and have fun.

Cream and sugar?
I am on the 3rd cup. Did some shoveling. Dang that carp is HEAVY.
I cleared the big chicken run, the walk to the run, the back porch and walk to the kennels , 1/3 of the big kennel, front porch, driveway and front walk.

It better not dump a bunch more. I am sore already!

I also spread ice melt out front. I don't want hubby to take another spill.

We got here around 11am and we are leaving now around 2pm. Thing 1 is close to having a meltdown. We drove in and we are hitting an Apple store on the way out of town to see if we can get our phone batteries replaced. Hopefully Thing 1 doesn’t object too much.

I hadn’t thought about a taxi. Our friends have 4 kids so we would have had to almost hire a bus short bus.

I'm going to stop agreeing to stuff, no more helpful crap out of me.
I spent all day helping hubs move a sofa.
I was not informed half the sofa's weight was pure funk.
That thing needed to go to the dump, why his mom wants to save it is beyond me.
It smelled like summer garbage, really dirty dog and pee.
