That's new. I looked for something like that when Jasmine was sick last spring and it did not exist. We either blendered her food or mixed it w/ water and smashed it up. They had this one stuff that she would eat fairly well. it was small enough that she could lick it up.View attachment 1709486 Just a thought while it’s in my head.
Apparently there’s a whole new realm of stuff in the cat aisle in response to either how picky cats can be OR how crazy cat owners can be but for whatever reason I am SO GLAD!
...because I am having a dickens of a time getting this cat to eat.
He is refusing ALL dry food
And only picking at his canned food and mostly mastering the “I’m the most depressed cat in the universe” look.
So here is the array.

All of which he’s given the thumbs up to, thank goodness, otherwise he was going back to the vet tomorrow for sub-q fluids.
No he doesn’t have a fever.
His wound looks good and there’s evidence of granulation taking place.
He still hates (practically refuses) walking around with his head inside a satellite dish -so he just holds still and cries to be heldor sits in his hind legs like a ground hog and misses playing with the dog who wants to rescue him from the satellite dish btw, but in a very rough manner.
5 days down/ 8.5 to go. But who’s counting?![]()
We've got snow right now. Big fluffy flakes, but they were melting upon impact last time I saw a window. Not snow clouds I hope.

Beautiful!!!!

So, DH is prepping the car for our trip to his Grandmother's birthday party weekend. So he left Thing 1 up with my mom since she hasn't seen him the last 2 days (church one night and they didn't get back until late from a feed run last night) and she won't see him until Monday. So, they were in the garage mixing some horse feed for this evening when she sees our outdoor cat, Sylvie, streak out of the garage. Thing 1 starts chanting "Kitty got mouse, kitty got mouse..." and hands my mom a dead vole. Apparently she was bringing her catch in the garage to consume it and Thing 1 intercepted her and took her prize away. My mom called to tell me what happened and said she washed his hands really well and I hear Thing 1 in the background say "Yucky mouse".
It’s all cone related. But thankfully he’s “himself” when it’s off. That's so sad Stacey. Poor kitty. The cone must make his head weigh a literal ton!
I know you are giving him breaks from his cone to potty. Is he still mopey when it's off?
Can you try giving him a bit of boiled chicken? It worked on my kitty. She had to get fixed from being fixed. Apparently she was allergic to the future suture material. She spent 3 weeks in cone head mode.
