My parents have always had a giant glass minihaha water jug for change. When I was in middle school my sister was in high school and the band got to go to Disney World. So we started rolling change and paid for Disney tickets.

Yah I used to haul off change to the machine at the grocery store. Coins weighed a ton, when I got dollars bills(whatever) in exchange - how disappointing. Weighed so much, worth so little.

Bank used to count them for free. NOT ANY MORE. They gave me quarter, dime, nickel, penny roller things to put them into. A lot more work and still a meager reward.

I use the machine and get amazon gift cards! They do not charge fee for those.

Morning everyone.
Another spring day!

Three trees down so far in this wind storm, 50 mph winds. Two trees fell on my newer garden patch fence and my metal chair is flat. At least they didn't fall on my truck.

So, apparently I didn’t get the whole vole story. My mom fleshed it out when we came up to visit this evening.

Sylvie ran off, Thing 1 says “kitty got mouse”, and then he starts singing “The cat takes the mouse” verse of Farmer in the Dell, while dancing in a circle, holding the vole by its stubby little tail.



That kid is a riot!

6 week old OE, 6 week old Ameraucana, 5 month old Polish and 6 month old Welsummer. The Welsummer was inside on a roost so I couldn't get her pic tonight. I'll get one tomorrow
