It stopped snowing a few minutes after I took the picture, then it started raining, then the sun came out, then we got a brief thunderstorm with a massive downpour. It has been a weird day.

Before I go do something dumb! I have 10 day to 2.5 week old chicks. It would be a mistake to add day old chicks at this point, right? I would need to raise them?
I would put the day olds in a separate brooder.

It is at the edge of being about to combine them. I would wait until they are a week old to combine them. I suspect they will be fine then but be careful

This is what I would do. Let them get their feet and grow a bit before adding them.

FNF I was thankful that I didn't fall for it and plant my peas, when I woke up to 20* this morning. But what you got was WAY worse. Reminds me of our 1967 blizzard. We got 36" in 12 hours on April 17th.

Are your peas in seed form?
I have 30+ feet of peas planted. It was cold the last couple mornings.
:fl That mine make it.

I would also give them a week to get more mobile.
