I recommended corid yesterday. She looks like she needs it.

When I had my first 2 cockerels, I would sneak to the coop in the morning in hopes of getting videos of those funny noises. Haha!!!

She has had 4 runny poops today, and I don’t how much more fluid she can lose. I tried to give her Corid/water through a syringe, because she won’t drink it. But she wasn’t having it. I added some Nutri Drench in it, because she seems to like that.

Today has just been crazy. A friend went with me to the neighboring town for a Costco run, but we stopped by TJ Maxx first. She spent 2.5 houra trying on clothes, not paying attention to time. In order to go to Costco, I got another friend to drop my son off at home after school. Got a poop specimen, but 8 minutes too late.

Did you remember to put sugar in the corid water? It tastes awful without it.

Some chickens are just more comfortable in the coop. My cochins rarely leave the coop these days. :confused: Bitty used to be all over the place.

Ok so how did I end up with 20 escaped birds?
I had the kids in the broody run while I cleaned and treated the coop. At 4 pm I went to put them away. I thought (mistakenly) that the ONE hen on the nest would stay there for 5 minutes so I propped the door open to make it easier. I grabbed 2 chicks, turned around and almost stepped on her! Trying to lure her back into the coop with treats wasn't getting me anywhere. I thought "ok, so I will toss some in the run. The moment I opened the run they exploded out!

Oh wow! That’s too much!
It’s stories like that that make me wish for cameras everywhere, then I think how I wait for my neighbor to pull out of his driveway to leave for work every morning.

There I am in my mismatched pj’s or my god awful, supersoft but also super static-y nightgown, sipping my coffee by my kitchen sink which faces their side load garage.

Whatever I’m wearing in the early am, it can generally but accurately be described as “ugly wear”. :gig

Not his wife. She’s like a pageant girl. Hair, nails, and full face of Makeup 24/7

He pulls out, off I sprint to feed my chickens!
Ugly or not, here I come!

That’s why I hate the thought of cameras outside lol :barnie
