This is a gentle "Nay Nay" day, she went easy on me. Big difference between her and Tucks for sure lol!
Unreal how much girl can puff up, please ignore her skullet being a mean little broody has lost her a few head feathers.:hmm
Priceless! Boy howdy that puff up and grumble was serious.
:th

I went ahead and moved my kids to the old broody coop......that is with them now spending nights there as well.

I really wanted to get my big run child proofed today. :hmm

I guess that is a tomorrow thing since I cannot catch a break.

There are a few ways in the big run for kids to get into trouble.
I will get that secured and get those kids in with the flock this week.
I hope integration goes quietly.......:fl

Chicky!! I love that "Nay Nay". I heard a comic use it........I forget who he is but OMG talk about wet your pants funny!

Those aren't broody hens.
This is a broody!
If you listen she screeches and Pat answers.:lau

I took this out to the coop and played it really loud......
Let's just say my hens were confused and definitely ready to defend a broody.
:gig

I am lucky to be alive!!

I had to do it after Chicky had reactions from babies.

She's sweet really. She doesn't try to peck me even if I go after a baby. But she fluffs up to basketball size and has that screech down pat. Last weight on her was 2 lbs 11 oz. She's a feisty little fire cracker.

Silvia my bantam cochin who's decided to be broody in the presence of babies is nasty. She's not even sitting on anything and tries to take my arm off. Need to get video of her.
