Let's just say my hens were confused and definitely ready to defend a broody.

These are the mixes, i'm still no closer to knowing if they're sausage party guests...they're just brown.
No idea what to do with that.

Top one is Kiwi the ameracuna mix, bottom is Dooneese the SS mix. Combs are small, not squealing boy just yet.

Awwwww! Cute babies!!

My red ones are hard to read too. I bought them as pullets and since they are very similar I am sticking with pullets. They are part Leghorns so reading the combs is horribly tricky here.

I am NOT good with condensed updates but......

Nunny got chicks closer to home since Meyers would not be able to fill her order she placed forever ago.
A broody is raising them. She is a good broody.....2 chicks managed to wander off from her though and did not make it.
She also has some very pretty hatching eggs and an incubator..... Chicky has Derp eggs she can mail her too....

Rae is making progress on the homestead. An ornery chicken obsessed guinea has been sold! Her house is still moving forward toward completion. T1 got stung on the finger by a nasty wasp but is recovering well.

Cappy has not told us how many Derps she got at Rural King.
Inquiring minds need to know!

Sassy's bird Henrietta is still not eating well.

Miss May got a stay of execution because she is up and about a bit more.


Of course I know I missed a bunch of goings on.
