Goldfish woes, he's got excessive slime disorder. It happens every tank change, he wigs out, makes a ton of slime and looks like crap for a week or two.
You'd think fresh water and less poop would be a happy thing....guess not.

Do you add a little aquarium salt when you do the changes?
It really helped my fish.

I was busy today. Went and got lots of sand and pea gravel for the coop. And while I was in the store....

I couldn't pass these up!

When I got home I unloaded it all then tried to work on the last bit of fencing. The kids had a blast gobbling up worms from the soggy mess I was trying to work in. I had to lay down a board to kneel on and I still got all muddy.

"Get white chickens. They are so pretty."


In happy news my oldest girl layed an egg today. I thought she still was but I actually witnessed it. She's around 7. My only original girl still left.

The little bra-ooder baby is doing great too. It cheaps loudly when I talk. Or I'm imagining it does.

It is amazing how truly dirty they can get.

Had to get fancy on him, Himalayan pink salt but yep he got salted.

3 days of in home chick sitting. 3 days of at farm chicken checking. Probably 3 weeks of 3 incubator watching.
