It is cold out today. :tongue

I did manage a few pictures of the Bitty babies and the dogs. :D

Bitty would rather I not be touching her kids. Man can she stink eye!
They are all alive so that's good.

All 4 dogs on shifty carp watch. :lau

Tilly being rather serious today.

One trick is to now remove too much but to add higher fiber foods. Adding will usually lead to dropping more of the bad stuff over time instead of banning food altogether.

Look into carb balancing

I definitely will have some reading and learning to do.

That is good news!

The University here still give health insurance to retirees. There is a monthly amount to pay-- currently about $155.00 per month. I hope it is still offered when I retire!
I paid in 1% while I was working, towards retiree INS. Was supposed to be a low amount monthly when I retired. Of course it has skyrocketed
I will pay $355 a month starting in July, went up $20 a month from this year.
Currently the state constitution says they have to give retirees, of state retirement programs, what was promised. there has been some court battles over it, we won. Now they are looking at changing the constitution. Illinois didn't pay into the retirement stuff when they were supposed to, so now there's a big problem.. Compounding interest doesn't work if you don't put money in to compound. like SS. .. The state chose not to have SS so I am not eligible for it or medicare

Bitty is something else, she's keeping those kids on lockdown.
All those big ole puppies! I bet you do get some impressive carpet tribbles.:)

Lol most of it is from that hairy beast.

We killed way to many vacuums. We took out the carpet and found original hardwood floors under it.
SCORE!

Bitty is keeping them nice and toasty warm for sure! One is quite a bit smaller than the other and is a blur it moves so fast!

You might have a Rene! I hope so for the cuteness factor that would at least make up for some of the other stuff coming.;)

A similar issue was recently decided here. We won too and retirees will get what was promised to them when they were hired. The State cannot take things back later.

Luckily When I was hired things were very good. I get full insurance but those hired after me at some point will be on a scale based on age of retirement and years worked. If I were under that, I would have to work until I was past medicare age to get full insurance.

Lucky Me!

If she is like Rene I will be giggling a lot.
LOL!! I look forward to "other stuff".
I like my little weirdos. :D

Delilah the Malamute insists on holding "paws" every morning for at least 20 minutes.
Tilly throws baby fits that include flailing on the sofa and yelling at her toys for falling on the floor.
Jack opens gates and doors when it suits his needs. :hmm Not the best skill to have but very clever.
Sable......sweet nutty Sable. She doesn't run to the back fence. She bounces like a springbok.

Yes just like that.

Lol! Don't get me started on Bob he's being bad. He's getting in the chick pen striking terror by eating their food.
I wish I knew what Dick was saying to the big girls, now sweet little Dutch wants to get a little piece of him. Girl squealed at him and she isn't like that at all!
They are going to kick his butt. I can feel it in my bones.:hmm
Pretty sure Squirrel Bob is in several of these clips.

:lau

I would love to! It is cold and raining here.

Dealing with doctors and vague answers here today.
Hubs had a standard test relating to his blood pressure meds........stupid person calling him with "results" was laughing on the phone when she told him his glucose reading is 564. Seriously that is NOT funny.
She didn't give him any other numbers. I know that 564 is freaking scary high.
He got ticked since she had no info except that and the stress that created. Not to mention the laughing. So not professional.
She couldn't even tell him if he needed to see his doctor. Seriously. :hmm That reading is 4X what "normal" should be. Telling someone to see their doctor should be an easy answer.
That is what happens when they hire untrained people to do a nurses job! Sorry you guys have to deal with it.
