Official Squatch Watchers

My elephant ear plant isn't dead! I forgot about it over the winter so I had said my goodbyes but it is coming back.
I guess the pot was big and deep enough to protect the bulb.
Lulu is beyond mad at me still, she won't even look at me. It was just a bath, a nice warm piney bath.
Tomorrow we get serious about broody breaking i'm not a fan of the bugs and she draws them in.
I checked butts, no lice a whooole lot of dirty looks but no lice.
I was right, just her.:)

So, there is more to the story of the missing guinea cock. My mom said that all morning, the guinea hens had been hanging around the horses' feeding area putting up a big racket. When she would look to see what was wrong, they shut up. She started getting serious about looking when she heard the guinea cock's alarm voice. He was underneath the horses' rubber feed pan. He had flipped it over on himself. Fortunately there was a hoof print he could duck his head out from under the feed pan to get some cool air. Otherwise, he would have suffocated.

Apparently my mom has seen him, more then once, perch on the side of an almost empty pan, flip it on its narrow edge, and walk in it like a hamster wheel, eating the left over feed. Today, it just flipped over further than he wanted it to.

Rae, that dosen't even surprise me.
I don't know how guineas aren't extinct by now, goofy birds.:)

Ok, settle down it is a girl....just might be a girl like Pat.:p

Good! Tell him to chill, going stressed will F up any tests they might do.:)

No extra tests since we brought everything with us.
She was reasonably helpful.
Interestingly........apparently 2 years ago when he had bloodwork done and it went directly to the doctors office he was diabetic.
Thanks for telling him stupid doctor. :rant
They didn't tell him Jack squat.

The prodigal guinea cock had returned. I just spied 3 guineas scratching around in the horse field.

:woot That after all that he is ok.

Doctors are like that now, about as helpful as a wart.
At least this one is trying to help a little bit and digging into his history. *off topic* I can't do a tatering thing without scratching now.:lau

Yeah I get it that a watt is more useful.

I am tatering mad about the "doctor" that failed to tell him anything.
We paid for the test they should at least share what it says.

Sorry about the itchy post bum check syndrome.

That is why I really like the "health care portal" WVU Medicine has set up. You get emails when your test results are in and look at the tests for yourself. I got some blood tests on Tuesday and I was able to make some changes to my supplements based on the results and not wait until next week to consult my midwives.

The new lab sends the results to the patient or we can pick them up.

Getting the results really puts patients in more control of their health.

It is always best to get the lab results. If there is no web portal, make them print out a copy and then go over them.

It is sad that we have to advocate for ourselves
