Official Squatch Watchers

It is always best to get the lab results. If there is not web portal, make them print out a copy and then go over them.

It is sad that we have advocate for ourselves

Yes it is. For far to long people have blindly followed "what the doctor ordered".

She was surprised how much lower we got his glucose already.
Because we have taken the initiative to start using a meter at home she is willing to accept his readings being faxed into the office in a month.

:fl That we can keep dropping his numbers and avoid insulin.

I am hoping for the best!

University Hospitals up here has a patient portal online. I got results before the Dr called to discuss them. It is really nice to have that option.

Imagine how cheap we would all have care if it was still like Little House on the Prairie. Doc was paid in eggs and chickens!:lau

A big thank you to @FlyingNunFarm for posting my Serama rooster on Facebook. He went to his new home today and the young lady that took him was so sweet. We exchanged Instagram info so I can see updates on him. She has already messaged me to let me know he is settling in nicely. Thank you so so much Nunny
I'm so glad it worked out. I was getting worried there were no responses. You'll have to share pictures when she sends them.

His is still going above 320 but not first thing in the morning. It seems to be steadily coming down. He has had a few in the low 200's.

Mine has come down too just with changing what I eat. I am running 250 to 350 throughout the day with more being toward the 250 mark.
I spiked really bad the other morning. I ate 1/2 cup of grape nuts with 1/2 cup of whole milk and was at 497 2 hours later.
:hit A single slice of Dave's Powerseed bread with peanut butter was nearly as bad.
:hmm Bread and cereal are off the menu.

Little splay leg baby thought ripping the leg off would be better then being hobbled. :thDon't know how but managed to split itself open.

Getting that taken care of I hear loud peeping from the basement. 4-5 babies huddled in the corner next to the water. One of them doing the back stroke. Wet and cold but alive.
Special Needs Unit has a new resident.:he
