Indeed! Now i'm insane with a bunch of beak marks on my tush, did learn a good many of my girls bite and twist like a goose.
Not sure I wanted to know all that.:p

I checked on everyone. Bitty and the kids are all set for the night. The bigs are all roosted. The 4 pack is in and settled. Eggs are gathered and doors closed.
My poor bell peppers have milk jug covers and fingers are crossed. I don't have any way to cover the cucumbers, pumpkin or watermelon.

No snow yet but it is tatering cold out.
 
Ugh, sorry Henny I know you were done with winter.
Maybe it won't be too bad.
Think I may have a few bruises, it does not pay to have freckles on your undercarriage around here. :hmm

I have spare tomatoes in the greenhouse but no extras on the rest. :hmm They will either make it or not at this point.

No, having freckles on the tush just makes for more targets.

I have been bull dogged by broody hens more than a few times. It hurts like crazy when they find tender flesh.

That's what I am hoping.

I do appreciate that we don't get slammed back into the 80+ range. It climbs rather gently.
 
You don't have an old sheet or something you could throw over the unprotected stuff?
Won't be much, but better than nothing. I saw by friday you'll be near 70, such odd weather.
