Official Squatch Watchers

A 40 degree swing is normal here in the high desert. Frost in the morning AC in the afternoon, Sweater in the evening.
The diurnal swings I am used to, although they make it difficult sometimes to decide what to wear to school or work. But usually by this time of year we it is consistently hot in the afternoons. Not this year though!

Iv'e been bitten by little hookbills budgies and cockatiels those were not any fun!
I can imagine what Dylan or bigger could do. The shirt is special for chicken stuff, it just gets worse and worse. I go in fully prepared to get pooped on or worse.:)
Lucky that chickens can not bite in the same way a parrot can. Think "can opener" working on your skin. Take a good look at the beak on the "Dylan" Avitar, she can open an almond or a walnut, if she can get a grip on it. But, they are so adorable, we suffer anything for them! Shirts are $1.00 at the goodwill, birds are priceless!

So, i'm sitting outside on a cement block in front of the coop on raccoon watch and the whole a** just ripped out of my pants.
I wasn't moving, they just gave up.
They are much cooler now and I can't get up because neighbors are outside and this isn't a little rip....save me! :gig

Laughing my @** off here. Air conditioning is great in AZ! (And no neighbors in sight)!

Well at least we are not the only ones then.

A freeze in late April or even early May is not unheard of around here, but the temp swings seem particularly bad this year. I hope I don't lose any fruit off the trees :hmm And I really hope the S stuff stays away from Henny!

So far no snow. With our cold temps(upper 30's) I expect that will change. I will likely lose most of the garden. :hmm
