Oh, got another broody maybe, that SS Ethel playing house at least ohh yay.:hmm
I'm pretty itchy on top of spacey and sweaty, Taters are healing, unfortunately they crust so i'm a big crusty taterhead.:gig
Propolis on anything scabby. But you will be sticky...
I'm half considering moving in and using a commode. I'm that desperate to get set up. Of course, we don't have AC, phone or internet. So I would need to spend most of my day up at the farmhouse to work anyway. I just want to start getting settled.
At least you don't have far to move and can take your time in moving. I know you really wanted to be moved and settled but take comfort in knowing that if the baby comes first the only schedule your fighting is natures.

People are so weird.
They post on here needing something and you message them about it and radio silence.
They don't seem to understand how ads work or they don't have the common courtesy to.at least acknowledge their responses.
So tacky not to.answer responses to correspondence you put out it really, truly is.:hmm
I hate that.. like that one who had the xray that was all full of rocks. What happened?! I NEED TO KNOW!

My son is open-minded about food so gave it what I would call an honest try. Hubs was making faces before I even handed him the spoon.

For my son it was a texture issue. He has always been sensitive to certain textures so I get it.

Hubs is being a giant baby about any dietary changes.
It's sad really. Kinda makes me want to :smack the tar out of him. Seriously!
We've tried quinoa & it does have an interesting texture. My kids didn't really like it either. The crunchy part kind of reminded me of the little balls that are in sweet pickles (I have no idea what they are). It didn't taste bad, but it was crunchier than I expected. Maybe mixed into something, like in the stuffed peppers, like other suggested would be a good way to use them, instead of just a pile of it.

Awww thanks Chooky.

Yes change is hard...harder still if one fights it.

I have not seen farro mentioned before and certainly haven't seen it in the stores.

I will look into it. I have to figure out how to and what to for side dishes now........I won't keep buying his blasted Mac N cheese just to throw 90% in the trash.
They have the single serving packs that aren't bad taste wise. It's microwaveable. http://www.kraftmacandcheese.com/products/microwavable/original
You could divide up the regular size box into smaller portions too. I wish they had a 1/2 size of the regular box. We're only 3 people and it's too much. I will put leftovers in the fridge, but they aren't great reheated.

I find this interesting. The babies I gave Lila Broody Queen include Legbars. The bra baby I kept needed a friend and there was a Legbar the same age. So they were brooded together. The Lila babies and the inside babies are super close in age. Might actually be the same hatch... but she knows which Legbar baby she raised and which one was added later.
(I can't tell them apart holding them together)
It's like when Klaus was taken out to heal and when she came back it was like she was a stranger. Not seeing her for 2 weeks erased the last 2 years of her living there. But they sure as heck remember that sometimes I have treats in the egg bucket.

it was 83 here yesterday and they went throw 2x the water they did when it was 65 the day before
yep a bunch of cow pies
Mine have been going through water too. I have a 5 gallon waterer and I put 4 gal in it on Monday... it's almost empty. I only have 14 birds.

Is it summer already? I thought it starts middle of June or some place about there. :idunno
Summer can happen anywhere between April and August in Ohio... but then spring reserves the right to happen any time in that period too.

Good morning everyone.

I got to sleep in a bit (7:30) this morning which was nice. We are now pulling out all the baby stuff and moving them over to the new house. I'm being driven a bit batty because I wan't to help, but every time I get up and do things, I start getting contractions. Maybe I'll go help my FIL and SIL tape up the Single wide so they can paint (we are painting to lighten up the walls and trap stuff that would otherwise off-gas from the walls behind the paint.

Yesterday was also a reminder that I need to pack a hospital bag. I drank too little and was getting fairly regular contractions. When I realized it was 5pm and I had only drank about half of what I normally do, I guzzled water and my contractions stopped. But still, it wouldn't have been fun to try to pack my hospital bag during contractions and trying to remember everything I could need.
Good idea! That happened to me w/ my first one b/c she was so early. I had almost nothing ready and I was lying in bed telling my husband what to grab while trying to accept that things were happening. How long is the drive the the hospital?

Good morning! Sitting here trying to chill been having a teeny tiny anxiety attack. I haven't had one in a looong time almost thought they were gone.
No they are not, but they ARE more appropriately placed...yay productive sh *tting bricks!
I am not a frivious brick sh*tter about time they fell in line.:gig
What happened? Crazy shack man felt the sudden urge to bring back a ladder he borrowed months ago.
He hugged me thank you "didn't want it, never happed before wasn't going to either" im putting the bricks in the mold at this point.
He grabbed my butt... bricks everywhere!
I'm impressed, with my quality and production rate I will have to give my butt a raise.
WTF? He'd have been safer grabbing Bob at least he dosen't kick.:lau
Oh.my.gasp. That's horrible. I really hope he was under the influence of some substance and doesn't normally go around groping people. You need an attack chicken.

I should have been clearer....that was my blood glucose reading. After finishing the front yard.....minus a section that was ok......my glucose is now 127...... My weight? I haven't looked recently. :hmm

Lol!! And OMG!!:gig

That tiny drill.....that could be very handy......a tool type that I don't have!!! Good lord!
LOL I thought you meant your weight too and I'm like Dang... how big is her yard?! I need to get me a thatching rake... and a yard. Is it normal for your blood sugar to go down while you're exercising? I honestly don't know.

Finished egg craft, even already had a little stand for it thanks to the mystery crap drawer.
Not a speck of blood on that beauty either.
I'm way prouder than I aught to be, but that's most things today.
Anything I do correctly without fire or bloodshed will be celebrated! :celebrateView attachment 1791603
That's sooo tiny!

Where did everyone go..........:caf

We are giving puppies baths before tomorrow's spay.
Poor dears don't like baths. :(

I have laundered all dog beds, mopped every floor in the house, put a big blanket in my car, and moved anything they might stagger into. As well as the usual housework for a Tuesday.

Even though we can always use some rain I am hoping we stay dry for the next week at least.
Do you always give them baths before taking them to the vet? Maybe they know something's up. Zoey knows when she's outside that if I pet her I usually find a tick & she'll end up being man-handled so she won't come up to me when she's outside.. but inside she has no problem letting me pet her.

I have been working literally for months on this wedding quilt for my niece, and it is still not done!!!

That looks amazing!!!! How long til the wedding?

Good morning everyone.

Baby is still staying put, but I’m getting more and more uncomfortable by the day. It is often hard to get to sleep at night because I start having contractions that are in the scale of 3-4 out of ten. Not bad enough to really hurt but enough to keep me awake.
It's not going to be long now. That's how it was w/ my youngest for an entire week. Her head was stuck, but she wanted out. Did you ever find out about if you can do the VBAC?

I'm half considering moving in and using a commode. I'm that desperate to get set up. Of course, we don't have AC, phone or internet. So I would need to spend most of my day up at the farmhouse to work anyway. I just want to start getting settled.
Grrrrrr it makes me mad that they're screwing around. How long do you plan on working, up until you deliver, or do you have a set date where you'll go on leave regardless?

The drive to the hospital is 1.5 hours. I chose this hospital because this is where they would transfer the baby or me if anything went wrong. I did the separate hospitals thing with Thing 1. I DO NOT want to go through that again.

I can try for a VBAC, even with an "unknown scar type".

I plan on working right up until I go into labor. I would rather spend as much time with the baby rather than having a week or two with NOTHING to do, which is what would have happened with my son since I didn't go into labor with him until 41+4.

The telephone company is here and is moving the line out of the way! That means my septic guy can hopefully finish by the end of the week or early next week!!!! And that means we’ll have water, septic and phones! We’ll have to start planning a moving party. Hopefully people from church can help.

Also, look what I found while in the field talking to the telephone company guys. So cute and not abandoned.

Good afternoon! I'm sitting in the sun just really wishing I could give the next person who says "that patch on your forehead looks dry, you need to hydrate" one of these flaky little babies right on the b-hole. I have a teeny tiny that was pushed out into eyebrow town, fully visible and by far the best behaved in perspective it is nothing.
I want to part the hair sea and see what advice they have for that lol!
@FlyingNunFarm I have rocket fueled the worst offenders. You have to be a MAN to do that!
Has also gotten me the nugget of wisdom I shouldn't be drinking when i'm already dehydrated.
I am just estatic somebody told me before I dried up and blew away.

My puppies are out of surgery and doing well. We pick them up in 45 minutes. It is a 30 minute drive.......had to come home to let Jack and Delilah outside.

Sable just hates baths. :hmm
Tilly and Jack like them go figure lol.

Blood sugar does go down when exercising. Yup normal....I think.

Delilah wanted to come back upstairs so bad she wolfed down her food......she had been out to potty so that wasn't it. Of course she didn't chew so she threw it ALL back up.
:he:he Her food was where she had full access all morning. She won't eat unless I sit with her, yes even on weekends.

I followed her normal schedule and behavior for feeding. :(
Poor baby doesn't like being all alone for 5 hours.

Here's hoping Tilly doesn't like in the car again on the way home.

Rae,
I am really glad they are finally getting it rolling so you can have the necessities in the new house.

Adorable fawn by the way. :love
