The world today is so dumb! I ordered pizza and some breadsticks no big deal. Told the person on the phone I only had a big bill. I was thinking i'd get change buying Bruce Lee's freedom but the neighbor wouldn't take any money he's a nice man.
Anyway guy gets here and gives me all SORTS of hassle over 100 says they don't take them.
He calls the manager on my phone which has the pizza place already programed in and gets a very snide o.k.
Really? Regular customer and they know where I live, it was fake i'm easy to find WTH?
How many of ya'll think I told him to just use speakerphone?

Nothing to major went on.

A quick (and likely incomplete) update....

Sassy's girl Henrietta laid an egg and looks great! She also has 3 broodies sharing a nest box.

Chicky is constantly being watched by her rooster.
She finally got a new fish too.

My puppies are still recovering from the spays.

Mostly nothing catastrophic happened which is good.

Good morning! Getting ready to get the feed together and release the beasts.
Looks like Bruce Lee made it through the night, I see him in there just swimming his butt off and that is awesome! He has to be pretty young he's just a little squirt in there.

Hubs left at 5am with the neighbor to go fishing.

I am going to trim the lilacs, move/remove some fencing, take down the broody house, knock down some weeds, plant wildflowers, transplant Zinnia into pots out front......and cut down 5 sumac that died over the last 2 years.

OH and I may set up a small water fountain thingy......yeah I will be winging that one. I have several things I could use to make it so we will see if the dogs let me get all that done.

Good morning folks,

I had a busy day yesterday. I got up early to work and finish something before an appointment, only to have a co worker tell me that something didn't package properly and he had to redo it. Basically nullifying 4 hours of work I did. Thankfully it wasn't my fault.

Then I had a midwife appointment in the afternoon (which is a 1.5 hour drive away). I went to that while DH and Thing 1 picked up our raw milk shipment about 10 min away in PA. Then we went to a park and walked around a couple stores until it was time to meet some friends for dinner. Then we drove home and got home about a half hour before Thing 1's bed time. The milk was fine because it was in coolers with ice.

I think my desiccated liver pills are really helping my iron levels because normally just the trip to my midwives would have wiped me out completely. Yesterday, even on short sleep, I felt pretty good, tired, but not feeling like I've been run over by a truck tired like I would have just a couple weeks ago.

Well the beast release took a little longer than anticipated.
The small ones are in that white plastic dog pen that looks like a jail when I put them to bed, just.to keep them out of trouble.
Some how Dick got "stuck" in the bars. I put my hand underneath to slide him out but there wasn't any doing it, like he was solid under there. Then I see this twerpy red bit under his chest....lordy. Henry was perfectly under Dick and neither one was stuck they just would not back up!
Both dummies kept pushing forward making the whole thing look just awful. I don't have these problems with the girls, they make new stuff up nothing quite so urgent looking though.
