Lordy Chicky!

Ahhhhhhh the derpy fun in my future. :p

Tilly is feeling much better.....she turned her food bowl over....trapping nearly all her kibble under it.
She is back to baying when the dogs in the alley set to barking.
She has modified the neckline on 2 T-shirts in an attempt to remove them.
Fun times....fun times.

Sable is still very lethargic. She did eat last night. Yes she is making puddles and yes she did poop.

There has been a creepy guy walking up and down the alley the last couple days. :hmm
The alley used to be a canal with a utility road on the other side. That means my side is VERY steep right outside the fence. He is walking on my side.......not like from point A to point B like he has some business at point B but more like just walking up and down the alley. He is creepy enough that my chickens went off hard core just before dusk. It was crazy enough I had to go check.

Sooooooooo.....when I saw him I came back up and let all the dogs out so he knows coming in here risks serious dog bite.

I'm seriously thinking about calling the owner of that pizza place. I think he'd be intrested in how a good repeat customer was treated during the entire process.
Because they wanted to correct and second guess me even during placing my order the pizza was awful, like eating a flagstone straight out of hell.
Don't know what the dealio is , iv'e had dominos the butt crack of pizza places make the same pizza amazingly well. :hmm

If they had a problem with taking your large bill, they ought to have said so when you placed the order and told them that was what you had to pay with!

5 CX mix , 2 boys, 2 girls and one I am not sure... judging by the combs.
I have been wrong before. 2 eggs that looked good at lockdown to go.

Soon to go under an experienced broody who had eggs develop but didn't hatch. some were partially hatched :sick When she went off the nest. Both sets of eggs from the same pen. Hers were from that day, incubator was from a couple of days before.... And these had no power for a few hrs at being of lockdown.

Some CX for future dinner date? They look sooo cute when they hatch!

Exactly! I said it repeatedly it was practically the first thing I said.
I know the drivers don't carry much money.
I tried to be courteous and they just shot that to sh*t.
The fact I could hear that harpy manager say "make sure she knows we will check the bill" O.K goooood!
The place could really make a huge investment and supply the drivers with those pens instead of being so god awful tacky about it.

yepper.. most of the boys
So far I have kept or sold the girls though. I was getting black ones that were great layers and i sold all of last years this spring (10) . But I still have 47 hens and that is too many.
I have emotional problems dispatching a perfectly good hen. Especially if I have enough boys to fill the freezer.

Little poofs! Now that is a mood booster. Thanks Mol.:)

47 sounds like more than enough!
