I remember when the neighbors had sparklers and they gave me one to hold. Can't believe I was that brave as a little kid, I was afraid of everything. Guess I never realized how badly they could hurt a child.

Yeah I know what you mean. I was terrified of curling irons (and many other things) as a kid but I sure loved those festive and fiery wands of destruction

Morning folks

Fireworks on all four sides of me last night and they started late due to rain... Too bad I'm so high up and have such tall trees. Couldn't see much of anything and just heard them. But they were spread out enough not to be a bother.

Morning Bob, and everyone just waking up.

Fireworks here went on until after 1am. If the neighbors were much farther away I wouldn't have been as annoyed.

I will say it wasn't as bad as in years past. This year they didn't start in mid June at least.

Good morning! Kids are out and fed so is Bob. Got a dirty look out of him, guess he isn't a rice cake fan honestly if it hadn't been caramel I think he'd smacked me.

Aww, not that it makes it better but i'd only had him for a few weeks so wasn't super attached yet still awful though!
Sparklers are cool, no noise! Unless you step on that hot sparkler wire lol!
I got a pack a few years ago, they aren't as good as they were don't sparkle nearly as long a few in the pack were just wire....inner kid was not happy about that.
