You deserved a lawn mowing and a ton more, baby steps with husbands though. The beeping lol! Not all of them beep, a good chunk of them do though lol. Tucks,Lulu and Rene never beeped but these kids do except the boy he never did :).

Tractor is bigger, with a higher hp engine and is made to take attachments plows, buckets etc.
Mower is just a mower. If you did go just a mower you'd need a floating deck not a fixed deck because you have some hills. :)

Dot has taken to beeping. It is hilarious!
She runs back and forth in a 2' strip with her head stuck up as high as possible and beeps when I go in the run. Seriously....the door is right there  if I am so scary go inside. :lau

Ugh, almost forgot. Marlene laid a softie in the nest with "and on" Tucks.....yuck.
Found out the hard way.

Oh gross. :sick
Bath time?

Lol! I'm pretty sure the beeping sticks around. That is that sobbing sound these kids make, just looong drawn out beeps.
These girls are in that "i'm a monster" stage too. Food makes me semi o.k. :D
And ohhh yes, bath time. She's yellow breasted.

I did a thing today...
Holly CARP am I tired. So I've been battling 2 broody girls. Both to young in my opinion and they aren't that committed. Some days I'd go out and they are outside. Other days they refuse to leave the box. Well now Lila Broody Queen has decided her kids are grown so she would like more.

This screaming box of feathers made me get serious. The crate I would use is occupied by 18 fuzz butts.

Yes, King Brutus on his heat plate throne. A new chicken math equation of accumulation of poop divided by days between brooder cleaning is telling me they need more room...and soon.
So I built a lean to area in the coop!

There is a feeder right on the wall and a coffee can (the plastic kind) nipple waterer. The whole thing can be moved fairly easily. I hope :fl. But I'm probably going to need it for a bit. LOL

Back from grocery shopping, wasn't alone though had one of these grasshoppers on my cart the whole trip.:p

Same kids. The Death Layers and Swedish Flowers. They will be glad to have that area in the coop when those broodies are out.

We got all kinds and colors of grasshoppers, katydids, crickets and cicadas.
That longhorned one just sat on my cart looking like it was trying to get a better television signal.
Luckily nobody else saw it , people get dumb about bugs.
Ya'll got the cool looking black cicads out there, lucky! :p
That is a weird grasshopper. We don't get ones like that up here.
We get mostly brown ones....maybe because we are in a desert.
