I debated trying to keep the yard hamsters out, but didn't know they can climb so it is nearly impossible.
I spent a long time watching youtube videos of groundhogs climbing pretty much everything.
They don't bother anybody but big mama eats my chicken food and i'm guessing that is her kid is eating the flowers.
Iv'e been blaming the chickens, iv'e got some apologising to do. :lau

O.k, yard hamsters eat cleomes didn't know that.
Also feel better im not trippin, there are two yard hamsters of varying sizes not just the one.
@apryl29 The derps get me with their dramatic decisions too.
A turtle is heart attack material.
An object falls out the butt at dinner and they shrug it off.
It is engrained too, nothing iv'e done that crap is evolutionary. :DView attachment 1891127
ha! I love the yard hams. You should see how my birds act about rain. They're either running for the coop, or calmly cleaning their feathers while being rained on like they're ever going to be dry. Mine aren't even derps, the rain just makes them do dumb.

I like this idea too. She should be willing to go downward toward food.

I actually despise yard sales. I am hoping to make enough to pay for fencing the East side yard to match the West. We will have to have a really big 12' gate with very sturdy wheel and concrete channel to roll on. Our current double gate is shot from rolling over super lumpy ground.

So far every day is an adventure with the super cute Derps.
Having a nice goal is a good reason for a yard sale. I hate them too, having them, going to them.. all of it. Our town has a weekend long yard sale every May and it is hell. I hope you're able to make enough $$ for the fence, or at least make a dent in it.

I did not know they climbed either, they look rather portly, I assumed they were diggers. I bet they'll accept your apology if it's accompanied by treats.

A pair of my quail. Hard to get pictures, they never stop moving!

I was under the impression they were just diggers too but nope.
They climb trees but only up, they jump down.
They scale fences better than a criminal.
And apparently they're great swimmers, supposedly they're also super grumpy.
So im stuck with at least two.:D

What kind are those? I love the ones with the little thingy on their head!
I bought them as California valley quail, but someone said they are Gambel's quail. Idk who to believe. They are very similar.
I think they are so cool, and make nifty noises. They are great fliers.

Cleaning stuff up to sell sucks taters.

Soooooooo 20 years ago I brought home a small tool cabinet with a work bench top.
Hubs commandeered it. I just cleared it out. :hmm
Everything he has in it for in a 12x18x12 box except for my son's small welding set thingy.
Such a waste of space.
It is a good little tool box work bench so it is getting a scrub down and up for sale!
Then I pulled out the portable swamp cooler.......somehow the cord was not with it.
:barnie It is a special plug.
Went on a treasure hunt. FOUND IT!! It was in a random box in hubs office downstairs. :hmm UM NOT where it belonged.
Looks like used this model is selling for $90.
