I have been holding off posting in the hopes of better news, but I am losing hope by the day.

My flock is gone. Something (I can only assume dogs) tore open the run and damaged one of the coops on Saturday. 1 hen was dead when I found her, 1 hen was injured but alive. The other 7 (my rooster, the last hen, and all 5 pullets) are still missing. No other bodies have been found, but there are feathers from everyone strewn throughout the run. I am absolutely shattered.

Called in my refills at 9am. They said ready at 1pm. Ok. I go at 2:15pm. Not ready. They say 20 minutes. Ok. I shop for 40. Still not ready. At 4:30 still not ready. I gave up checked out and came home. Hubs called me 5 minutes after I left the store saying they texted him that his meds are ready. :hmm
Seriously? We both had the same meds in for refills and they did get me a 5 day emergency amount. :rolleyes: So they filled his fully but didn't have enough to do more than 5 days for me. :(

Did I already :barnie?

I did get milk.

There is still a possibility....they may be in hiding.....

We are a weird mix of rural and suburban (due to gentrification and recent development). Neighbors’ lots are all very close by.... but if they went east they could reach the river corridor which is undeveloped.

I am so sorry. Even with the losses I've had I can't imagine. I do hope they have taken to the trees and are just scared. Fingers crossed.
