Official Squatch Watchers

Oh honey, nothing is derp resistant.
If they don't eat it they'll lay on it and squash it flat.
Iv'e got an iris bed about as big as a VW bug and this last bunch just made a purple pancake out of it.
I tell you they may be smaller but they're at least twice as destructive lol!
Honestly, they're making Renee, Lulu and Tucks look like saints.
They've decided to go to bed through the same door as everybody else, that would be fine if they werent sloooow.
When they used the other door it was great they could take their time and derp out all they wanted.:barnie

Good morning folks!

I read something this morning that got my blood boiling and at the same time made me grateful I found the midwives I did when trying for my VBAC. This was the thing I was most afraid of, the bait and switch. Even in the middle of being treated, I have the right to change my mind and be as "adversarial" as I want if I'm not being treated the way I deserve. The way some doctors treat people (especially pregnant women) is despicable.

WOW Rae!

My first 2 were c-section. My last was VBAC.
First was emergency, second was scheduled, the last one if my regular doctor had been in town would have been c-section too. Not optimal to do a c-section just because it is easier FOR THE DOCTOR.....in my opinion.
My last was a really really long rough labor. Still managed a normal delivery though.
A c-section is a very invasive proceedure....not to mention expensive.

Taking choices away from the patient is horribly wrong. That doctor needs a solid smack.

So many times our health is actually put at risk by "doctors" being paid to REDUCE the risk and help.

:rant:rant:rant:rant

Final thought......know your body and take responsibility for your health....if you're not getting the CARE in the CARE you get take control.

Yeah it hit a nerve.....

The thing that really got me is that he waited until she had been under his care for 16 weeks before giving her this form, which means she was most likely between 26 and 30 weeks pregnant. Why on earth couldn't he have told her this at the beginning of her pregnancy so she could more easily find another doctor? From the woman's comments and the last line of the form, my husband thinks his plan was to make his patients feel "trapped" into staying with him by making them feel it was too late to switch.
