So sorry for your loss. There are two products that begin with a P, one is called Panacur and the active ingredient is fenbendazole (100 mg/g or 100 mg/ml). This is the exact same thing as Safeguard. The other product is pyrantel pamoate.

What types worms do you want to treat? I ask because not all de-womers treat all worms.

Reading up on the equimax it says specifically formulated for horses and ponies. It advises against use in other species.

Hi all. I've been MIA but am doing well. How are the Squatchers? I'm sure I've missed all kinds of fun stuff

Ziva passed away this morning. I went over to check on her and she was lying in the cage on her side. I tried to get her into the vet to have her euthanized to reduce her suffering, but before they could even come into the room she had passed away. I considered just holding her and waiting a bit in case she was just going to pass, but the vet is 1/2 hr away & I didn't want to wait and end up having to take her anyway & her having to suffer longer. They said it might have been something respiratory or a parasite that weakened her and she wasn't able to fight off an illness. I'm going to worm the others tonight w/ the horse stuff. I still think it may have been internal laying, but I'm going to keep an eye on the others. She mentioned a dewormer call Prevent or something like that. Has anyone heard of it? We are hanging in there at our house.
Hubs got this puppy a little while back.


Yup a drooly hound. Her name is River. She was born 8-29 so is not even 16 weeks old yet.....and is well over 30#.


We need updates on your critters! How are they all doing?

Thanks....I missed you all. My chickens are all doing great. It was a productive summer and now they are taking their well deserved break. I got my new puppy in May and he is almost 9 months old now. Boy is he a character! Very smart and very stubborn.

Awwwww River is adorable! All my critters are great. 17 chickens, 2 roosters. (I had 3 but 1 was a butthead and Nunny helped me find him a great home. I get updates on him and he is happy in his new place) 2 bunnies are now 1 year old and they are so sweet and happy. New puppy Jackson is almost 9 months and quite a handful, but we love him to pieces!
