O.k, so im treating my sleep brawling myself.
The treatment is Clonazepam and im already so slow its pitiful I don't need a sedative.
My answer is to sleep in a tube, so far it is working even though I have busted my buns a few times trying to get up and go.
Hubs thinks my solution is hilarious, he's not shut up about it.

Now if I was still a kid this would be awesome, at my age it is freaking weird.
But for ya'll with daughters @apryl29 I reccomend the Langria mermaid butt blanket.
It is quite cozy and it will absolutely keep you from taking any strolls at night. :p

I bet he's strong, he's like a giant blonde turkey lol!
Glad his mites are dead, can't stand those nasty beeches.

Kind of double edged isn't it?
They're so beautiful when they're giant or just overly thick even, but they do worry the crap out of you when stuff goes wrong even if it is a tiny thing it gets amplified.
And Henny...quit bugging that hen she needs her rest.;)

I checked on her one last time. She is ok for tonight.
:idunno I try not to disturb her to much when I go out. I check for eggs, go into the run, talk to all the burbs, then go talk to her....I try not to make her try to walk.

This is what 21lbs 5.5oz of bacon looks like when set to cure. Only 3 lbs of it came from the smaller pig.

Soooooo sparkly! Hey if it keeps you and your hubs safe he should be happy!

Well poo! I guess I better order soon if I am going to.

Cool that they are offering a discount. Thanks for that info!

It wasn’t too much smaller, about half the weight. But the larger pig was a food hog and he had all the fat. The smaller one had barely any fat. The guys who helped us butcher said that our smaller one was about average size for the breed but was decidedly lean for a lard breed. He wasn’t in bad condition but he didn’t have any extra fat on him. Pork belly is mostly fat, so the smaller pig had a really thin, meaty belly.

I didn't mean it to sound like I thought he was in bad condition at all. I just would have thought they would have been closer in size to each other.
It makes sense that one would be a big piggie about the food though. :p

Apparently my larger boy was a throwback to a larger crossbreed. At one point American Guinea hogs were almost extinct. Generally speaking, if you have a AGH with white markings (my larger one had white boots) they grow larger than the pure black ones. I’m going to try to figure out what I paid per pound.

That is interesting that white markings are linked to them getting bigger.

I used to buy a whole hog ready for butcher every year from a specific rancher. I knew how he raised his and they had good lives. When he quit raising them I never found a new rancher. I think once they were processed I ended up having paid about $2.75 a pound. Not bad at all. Of course that was 15+ years ago too.

My CX mixes produce 3 colors. The white are the biggest, the barred are big and the black are the smallest

So the white translates to the chickens too. It all facinates me.

Someone figured out what to mix to get big ole CX birds.......I bet the first ones were a bit surprising. :lau

There was a contest to make the fastest growing bird back in the 50-60's... They have been getting them bigger ever since
