Just walked Tilly a full 2 miles! The vet said she is now getting a bit chubby so whether hubs likes me walking his dog or not she is getting walked.
He thinks I am to strict on walks.
I give direction in a non harsh way so whatever. I teach to sit at intersections and stay out of peoples yards. I expect a slack leash NO PULLING. :idunno

She is actually really good about behaving considering hubs does not walk her at all so it is all pretty new to her.

:idunno He gives River ZERO direction or commands while we are out with her.
A while back he tried to walk Tilly. He only made it a couple blocks and came home saying she was impossible to walk.
She does well for me so I think she just needs good clear direction.

I know the 2 miles is not enough but her stamina isn't high yet.

Dogs are like kids, they will get away with anything they can.

So very true Cappy.

Once my son gets home I am taking Sable out. Good gawd she has some work to do. She DOES pull and needs a lot more walks too.
It is difficult for me to get out with just one dog. I don't trust Tilly and River alone in the yard.

Yes, the egg situation seems to be what is going to be a normal thing. I don't expect many eggs from either of them, and Lizbeth isn't showing signs of any issues from not laying. Luci was initially sexed as a pullet, so we weren't expecting the conundrum child that she is. Fortunately, eggs are not the reason we have chickens, so when we do get them, Peach or Nothus, the blue tongue skink, get them.

For those of you who know whathat Nothus means in Greek, she is not a mean girl, she just needed patience, kindness and understanding.
