It's crazy here too. People are hoarding toilet paper like they're going to be crapping their brains out. My brother needs hand sanitizer because he works in a factory with a lot of people and has COPD but he can't find any. I told him I would go out and try to find some for him tonight before he goes back to work. I have been stocking up on food throughout the week and the kids and I will be fine. My dad and brother went to get food last night. Fortunately it seems like dollar stores are still fairly well-stocked so that's been my go-to place. Hopefully after a few days everybody will stop their insane stockpiling and calm down a bit. I don't expect it to get scary unless they start closing stores here. Several grocery stores have shortened their hours and are no longer 24 hours. Although I assume that is so their employees have time to be restocking the shelves to without having people constantly asking them if they have this and that. It's pretty crazy but hopefully this will keep a lot of people from dying. I'm worried about my brother and my daughter has breathing problems too and my nephew. And my cousin in Nebraska has reactive airway disease. So my family just has some really crappy lungs. And then I read something today saying that a woman who had it in Japan got it again. So I imagine for people who are high risk who managed to survive getting it a second time would be harder on their body than the first time. Especially if they hadn't had time to recover. It's kind of sad because people are having to actually tell parents that wild schools are closed they should be keeping their kids at home and not taking them outside like this is a summer vacation.
