Official Squatch Watchers

I have several hawks that hang around and could care less who or what is outside. I came out of the coop one day to a beast sitting on the run. The dog was outside barking and everything. Darn thing just looked at me.
I have lots of walnuts everywhere, and they make great projectiles. Hawks don't like them flying by

The hawk found easier prey in the neighbors uncovered run today. :(

At least it was a neighbor about 8 houses away. The sound of he attack still freaked everyone here out.

Hawk pressure is pretty heavy here. It is one reason mine are very rarely loose.

Just a thought, since I drive to SE Columbus for my Azure order, maybe we could meet up for a bird exchange after all this craziness dies down. I’m sure to have some culls that you would be happy to have. I would only need to drive a little more to meet at the halfway point.
@Molpet did you see my comment after my trip?

I missed that

Doubt if I could make it that far. 2 hrs driving and my back has issues anymore.
But thank you for thinking of this
Bummer. I'll just have to get you some eggs lateer this year. which may be sooner than I originally planned since my incubators are having a hard time keeping up with 6 guinea hens and 7 Cornish girls.

Thank you that will be greatly appreciated. :love:bow
