Good Morning!
:frow Good morning Chicky, Nunny, Rae and Parront, have a great day

Well poop! I know how much you were looking forward to mowing.

On a serious note....any idea why it wont start? I know as much as mowing is soooooo much fun  it is still a necessary.

Who knows. The battery was dead. Got that charged and it won’t turn over. It tries but no go. I added gas and left it on the battery charger. Trying to start it so many times was draining it.

Other then adding gas and checking the oil I’ve got no motor experience. I may try it again later but it’s raining so no mowing anyway.

(should have offered the neighbor eggs to do my front lawn when he was mowing yesterday)

Good Vibes, Juju, or Prayers please.

Found that new creole rooster half frozen in the coop. The girls with him are all running around acting fine but he was clearly cold.

Brought him in, tube fed him some baby parrot food slurry. Put him in a crate with more baby parrot food water and a scrambled egg. A little heater pointed his direction with a blanket over the crate to make a 'heat cave'.

Late to start work but now I'm worried. I hope he pulls through.

Sending good juju, vibes and strong prayers for that poor little fella.

Yesterday when I was working on the run he didn't seem quite right but when I brought him outside he perked up so I figured stress.
This is really bad stress if that's what it is.

What were your overnight temps?

Maybe the move triggered an illness in him to rear its ugly head. :idunno

I really hope that interesting dude recovers.

Well tonight lock up includes locks, sad as a mofo it has to be like that. :(

For real! I totally understand because my coops are also locked up.

Even my runs have locks.
Winter with gloves and hands full of chicken needs is fun as a mofo too.
