My chickens are all acting crazy this morning! Running everywhere, Squawking loud, and bok bok boking all over the place.

Mine do that when a hen lays an egg!

I'm a dad too, but I'm not running around the yard SQUAWKING about it!

Only when you have a new child do you get to squalk about it!

Well, it's true I did get 24 eggs today (from various places and hens) for Fathers Day. And a little peck on the cheek from BEN my rooster! It's a good day!

Garage painting is 95% done. There is one heavy chemicals cabinet I need to move to paint behind and the doors then DONE!


Hubs got new lights for the garage and oh my they are bright!

Well off to cook supper. Grilling out got kinda rained out so inside it is.

Awww, the lazy days of summer. Not for the hens! Those girls have been busy laying for me today. The roosters? Well, they are being roosters (no explanation needed) It's hot today, so I built a little water park for them to waddle around in. OH, and those muddy chickens feet!
The patio looks like a doctors prescription!

I have named one of my ducks......she is Sherri.
Why Sherri???

I have a neighbor 3 doors down that is SUPER LOUD. Her name is Sherri. She cackles like a witch....at full volume.

Well my duck lets loose with a

Yup super loud. It sounds like she is laughing.

Earlier BYC times, I was reading about Seramas, and a "lethal gene" was mentioned - and poor hatch rates. Also some seramas with extremely short legs - they called them "creepers."
